Hi My name is Antonia and i am a meteorologist From Dundee Univercity of Scottland. I saw a movie called Twister that i Liked a lot and i wanted to tell you some things about it.
Twister was made in 1996 and it was directed by Jan de Bond and written By Michael Christon and Anne-Marie Martin. The story is about a girl that lost her father during a tornado. These girl with the name Joe when she grow up she was still feeling sad about her loved people that died in these tornado so as the years past she becomes a meteorologist a storm cheser.Beacuse she wanted to find out with her friends the invection of hel,ping people least at least some minites before the tornado comes. I liked these movie beacuse they were some staff that i do as well as my job but in the movie they dont do very real things and that bothered me alot for example when they were showing the tornados they were like moving very slowly and that in a reality a tornado moves very fast and they keel people very quiqly , but their anfortunatly it showd the opposite but i steel like it!

Honor Killings
Honor Killings
Honor Killings is: the murder of a family or a clan member by one or more fellow family members.The ireporters concerning culture practices in the family that they are towards woman indicated that honor killings had been reported in Egypt, Jordan ,Lebanon ,Morocco ,Pakistan ,Punjab, Syrian Arab Repablic, Turkey, Yemen and other Mediterranean and Persian Gulf countries.These killings result from the perception that udefense of honour justifies killing a person whose behavior dishonor their clan or family.During 2002 in Pakistan it is estimated that 245 woman and 137 men were killed in the name of Karo-Kari in Sindh. The estimated amount of people that died in a year are over 5,000 people woman and men.
Honor suicides is a recent phenomenon of Honour suicides that occurs in Turkey. In this situation there have been many cases when people order or pressure a woman to kill herself beacuse maybe this may be done so people avoid penalties of murdering her. In Iraq woman in Diyala were forced into honor suicides.
In 2005 in Europe six Muslim woman she was killed by her brother because she didnt wanted to stay with her hasband of forced of marriage. South Asia is one of the worst reported continents for honor killings.Honor Killings it doesn't have laws so it is not a law in some countries but as in my opinion i dont think it should be like that.There are a lot of murders and killings in the world for many reasons, i think everybody should try to do something abou it and expecially the person who has the most power beacuse now the newas are reporded everywere and this affects many people aswell as tourist that come for holidays maybe they can be involved in this situation of Honor Killings.

1)It is possible to experience love at first sight
I disagree because you can say to them that you love them if iyou knoiw him well and if you know his personality. Some people look at them and they say they are good for them but as you keep kmowing him well then you realise that what you were thinking it was wrong.
2)Two strangers stuck on an island together could learn to love each other.
I disagree because you dont know jthis person and aswell you dont know what kind of person she/he maybe are . And aswell maybe you dont have the same characteristics with him or her or maybe you have nothing in common.I think that you should pick someone that you spoke to him and know him from before.
3.) It is a good thing to sacrifice your happiness for other people.
I agree because maybe some people want to be happy beacuse maybe the way that they live or their life is much lower than yours and i think in my opiunion that is good to give to them something or love.
4.) Women in your society are free citizens.I agree and disagree because beacuse some people in many countries do whenever they do like for example England but i disagree beacuse in my opinion everybody should not be free and they should follow the laws.

The Outsiders
The Outsiders
I like better the book . Reading a book I relax and i feel very comefortable. By reading I understand more the story than watching and listening to it. Watching a movie makes me feel very tired and sleepy. The book gives me the apportunity to read at any time whenever I have time. I can carry it in my bag enen if I travel . Also I find that if there is something I dont understand I can go back and read the pages I want again. Through reading books can also improve my knowledge on good vocabulary and dictation. Reading a book I can get in detail all information of the story but watching a movie of the same story I find ouit that a lot of content is deleted. It is not that I dont like movies but books are my best friends whenever I go. They are valuable to me and other people can read them after me and for the years to come. Like the Outsiders.

A story!
It was last summer when all the family dicided to visit Egypt it was a fantastic idea for all of as.
The trip did not take long but i have already imagined and lived there touring with Mr Ali our tourist guide.
I found myself near the river Nile. I have studied about it and i new quite a lot about it but Mr Mohammed an egyptian man looked amazed.
This river my young girl has been the life of egypt for years. It always fed us and our children. It is the source of life. I asked him what was he wearing on his head and he said that was a part of the egyptian dress. After that i found myself into a big race car no.8 and i went to the pyramids. I met a knight called Hassan and he tried to stop me approching the pyramids .<>he said and stood looking at me very strictly . <> I asked him <>. She looked to me like chinese or egyptian and she was holding a big bag full of treasure. The knight got very angry and shouted <>
< I woke up and i was suprised with my dream Mr Ali said to me thatwhat i dreamt of eas true and that egyptians believed in after life that is why their treasure was burried with them and their bodies were preserved.
It was then time for me to go round amd learn more about Egypt and its civilisation..!!!

1) Sometimes violence is justifiable.

Because self defence is accetable if someone was about to harm you or somebody was going to harm one of your people.
